Looking to enter the world of robot vacuums, but not quite ready to commit to the cost of higher-end models? Meet the iRobot Roomba 650. This 9-pound disc packs a punch when it comes to sucking up the dirt, dust and debris that find their way onto your floors, and its usual price tag of $374 is currently down to $299 on Amazon and at Best Buy.

Our reviewers gave this no-frills model a score of 8.1 out of 10 for its ability to not only pick up 25% more dirt than its pricier counterpart (the $499 Roomba 770), but also to reach tighter spaces that are a massive pain with a standard vacuum. The 650 charges in just 3 hours, and you can set it to clean your home as often as you’d like.

What dinged the Roomba 650’s overall score was its hard-headed driving style. If you like to keep delicate items perched near the edges of your furniture, this might not be the vacuum for you. But if your home is fairly bump-proof, the occasional thunk of the Roomba knocking into something as it explores your floors shouldn’t be a bother.
